Coupon Policies


Store Coupons - These can be found in the weekly ad.
Manufacture Coupons (M.C.)
Printable Coupons:

We can only accept Printable Coupons:
- If they scan properly at the register.
- Buy 1 Get 1 Free coupons are okay.

We will not accept Printable Coupons for:

- "FREE product" (i.e., no purchase required).

- For more than 50% of a product's value.

(For example, a $2 off coupon will be acceptable for a product that sells for $5 or more, but a $2 off Printable Coupon for a product that sells for $2.25 will not be accepted. If there are exceptions, we are usually provided an advance notice by the applicable manufacturer upon which we will pass the appropriate savings, if any, onto you.)

- If they appear to be distorted or blurry, or are altered in any way or copied.

There are also coupons you can load directly to your Safeway Club Card!!!
U Promise - Here you can load coupons to your Club Card, but you can also register all of your Credit & Debit cards to help you save for your children college!

- you won't forget to bring them with you!

*Things to know about loading coupons to your shopping card:
- Loads one coupon (can ONLY be used for ONE item)
- TIP: Load same coupon from each site, to purchase multiple items.
- Are stack-able with M.C. or printable coupons!

The Whole Deal is a magazine at the front of the store full of coupons & great meal ideas. Make sure you pick one up when you go shopping. They release a new book every two months.
